Allah says in Qur’an, “And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who give thought.” 30:21
A nikkah is an act of worship. In Islam Nikkah is an agreement and contract between husband and wife in accordance with the Qur’an and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon Him).
