Building Our Future, One Brick at a Time
Alhamdulillah, Princeton Islamic Center has outgrown its current facility, and our community is in urgent need of a new masjid to serve the growing Muslim population of Princeton and the surrounding areas. This project is not just about building walls, it’s about creating a home for worship, education, youth, and generations to come.
Project Vision
Facilities & Capacity
- Main Prayer Hall – capacity for 800+ worshippers (men & women combined)
- 6 Classrooms – for Islamic education, Quran classes, and weekend school
- Recreational area – serves as a basketball court, covered sports area, and gym; also accommodates 300+ people for overflow
- Community Spaces – for families, lectures, and social services
- Youth & Activity Areas – dedicated spaces for youth programs and engagement
- Parking Facilities – spacious lot to serve the community

Project Cost & Phases
- Total Goal: $6,000,000 = 4,000 Bricks
- Phase 1 Goal: $1,800,000 = 1,200 Bricks (sitework, foundation, and steel structure)
- Fundraiser Target: $800,000 to kick-start Phase 1
Ways to Contribute
- 🧱 $1,500 = 1 Brick (or $125/month × 12)
- 🏠 $150,000 = Room Sponsor (100 Bricks)
- 🤲 Custom pledges welcome — every dollar counts!
Donor Recognition – Honor Wall
- To honor those who help us build this masjid, we will have a permanent donor wall inside the new facility.
- Family names engraved as a lasting reminder of sadaqah jariyah.
- Special recognition for room sponsors and major donors.

To make this vision a reality, we need your support. The total project cost is $6 million, which we have divided into manageable stages. Our first milestone is Phase 1: $1.8 million, covering site work, foundation, and the metal structure of the masjid. Phase 1 Kickstart: $800,000 December 6th Fundraising event
We are launching a “Be a Brick, Build Your Masjid” campaign to encourage everyone to contribute. Each brick is $1,500, which can also be given as $125 per month for 12 months. Together, we can reach our goal – one brick at a time.
